Plant lighting application scenarios continue to expand, extending from specialty crops to aquaculture
At the end of September, relevant investors stated during an investor relations event that the plant lighting market saw an explosive growth starting in 2021, mainly driven by the maturation of LED technology and the implementation of industrial policies. At present, application scenarios are continuously diversifying, expanding from specialty crop cultivation to ordinary vegetables, aquaculture, livestock farming, and other fields.

The investors noted that plant lighting technology offers clear advantages: it enables customized lighting conditions, breaking the constraints of traditional sunlight; it requires no soil, thereby addressing the issue of heavy metal contamination in soil; and water resources can be recycled, reducing resource consumption. This technology removes dependence on traditional climatic conditions, allowing the cultivation of high-value agricultural products to no longer be restricted by geography, indicating substantial room for market growth. In addition, LED driver power supplies can be applied to various plant lighting scenarios such as greenhouses and vertical farms.
